Grant Sweningson and Nick Allred, both seniors at Santa Ana Foothill High in California, took the top two spots in the North Hills League final as well as overall in the Century Conference at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim. Sweningson covered the 3-mile course in 15:06.3 and Allred ran 15:13.7 to help Foothill capture the North Hills League title and prevail against Crestview League champion Brea-Olinda, advancing to the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 prelims Nov. 12 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
