Villa Park CA senior Anthony Alcerro took second in the 3-mile boys varsity race in 15:11.1 at the North Hills League finals at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim, Calif. Alcerro, who won the league title last season in 15:31.6, finished fifth overall including the Crestview League competitors. Alcerro helped Villa Park place second to Yorba Linda CA by a 29-40 margin.
